Minor Service: This is recommended for a relatively new instrument with minor issues. $110

General Service: This is the most common type of service. The flute is fully disassembled and the body is bathed and is coated with a silver protectant polish. The keys and pads are given a general clean before being reassembled. All pads are reseated to close leaks, spring tension is adjusted, tenons are checked for fit and all key work is adjusted. Flutes are oiled and play tested. Pads and corks are replaced as necessary at an extra cost.

Full Service: This service is recommended for a flute that is deeply tarnished, needs 5+ pads replaced or has not been serviced in a number of years. A full service includes all of the work that goes into a general service plus hand polishing of all keys, finer adjustments returning them to factory standards and more.

Overhaul: This service is only completed after full consultation with the customer. This includes replacement of all pads, corks, springs etc and is an individual quote.
